BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Lindsey Lucas (So., Orinda, Calif./Miramonte) of No. 12-ranked Princeton University made 20 saves in a pair of league victories at No. 21 Harvard University and No. 25 Brown University to collect honors as the April 15 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Defensive Player of the Week honor.

On Saturday, April 13, she produced 11 saves in a 10-6 win at Harvard before turning aside nine scoring attempts in a 12-10 victory at Brown.

The honor marks the 18th weekly recognition of Lucas’ intercollegiate career.  Last season, she claimed the January 30, February 27 and May 15 CWPA Division I Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week awards along with notice as the February 13, March 20, April 3 and April 10 Rookie and May 1 Defensive Player of the Week.  She previously garnered Defensive Player of the Week status during the 2024 campaign by earning the February 12, February 19, March 4, March 18, April 1 and April 8 awards.
