BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalie Marissa Webb (Jr., Danville, Calif./San Ramon) of No. 21-ranked Princeton University produced 33 saves during a 2-1 weekend for the Tigers at home in DeNunzio Pool during the Princeton Invitational.  For her performance, Webb is recognized as the February 17 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Defensive Player of the Week.

An eight-time Defensive Player of the Week selection following three nods in 2019 (March 4, April 1, April 29) and four in 2018 (February 19, March 19, April 9, April 30) and 10-time weekly honor recipient with Rookie of the Week laurels on April 9 and April 30, 2018, Webb opened the invitational by making 14 saves in an 11-9 loss to No. 17 Wagner College on Saturday, February 15.

On Sunday, February 16, she turned away 11 scoring attempts in a 7-5 defeat of No. 22 San Diego State University prior to making eight saves in a 13-9 victory over Long Island University.
