BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalie Marissa Webb (So., Danville, Calif./San Ramon) of No. 18-ranked Princeton University made 10 saves as the Tigers downed No. 16 Wagner College, 11-10, at DeNunzio Pool on Saturday, March 30. For her performance, Webb earns honors as the April 1 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Defensive Player of the Week.
A two-time Defensive Player of the Week selection in 2019 after previously taking the March 4 award, Webb made five saves during the fourth quarter against the Seahawks to allow the Tigers to rally back and avenge an 11-10 loss to Wagner on February 24 during the Marist College Invitational.
