BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalie Marissa Webb (Jr., Danville, Calif./San Ramon) of No. 20-ranked Princeton University continued a string of 10-save efforts by cracking the decade mark in defeats of Villanova University and George Washington University to earn recognition as the March 2 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Defensive Player of the Week.

A nine-time Defensive Player of the Week selection following three nods in 2019 (March 4, April 1, April 29) and four in 2018 (February 19, March 19, April 9, April 30) before taking the February 17 accolade earlier this season, she is an 11-time weekly honor recipient with Rookie of the Week laurels on April 9 and April 30, 2018.

She made 10 stops in a 14-6 defeat of Villanova University at home in the Garden State on Friday, February 28, before closing out the month of February on the 29th with 12 saves in a 12-8 league victory at George Washington.  She added an assist in both victories as well.
