BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Mitchell Cooper (So., Newport Coast, Calif./Corona del Mar) of No. 19-ranked Princeton University posted 12 points during a pair of Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) victories over the weekend to garner status as the November 11 NWPC Player of the Week.
A first-time selection for a weekly honor, Cooper notched two goals and an assist at home in DeNunzio Pool versus Iona College in a 19-12 win prior to contributing six goals and three assists in helping to turn back St. Francis College Brooklyn, 13-10 on Saturday, November 9.
