BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Rachael Carver (So., Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach) of No. 14-ranked Princeton University produced five goals, 12 assists and four steals during a 4-1 weekend for the Tigers at home in DeNunzio Pool during the Princeton Winter Tournament.  For her efforts, Carver claims recognition as the January 30 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.

A first-time Player of the Week selection, she factored as the Tigers turned back Bucknell University (5-0 W Forfeit), No. 16 the University of California-Santa Barbara (10-8 W), No. 18 the University of California-San Diego (11-10 W) and No. 19 Long Island University (17-6 W) prior to a loss versus No. 14 Wagner College (12-8 L).

She netted two goals and a pair of assists in the victory over the UC-San Diego Tritons on Saturday, January 28, prior to recording a pair of goals with four assists and three steals later in the day to hook the Sharks of Long Island.

Carver capped off her weekend with a goal and three helpers against both UC-Santa Barbara and Wagner on Sunday, January 29, to close out the Tigers opening weekend of competition in 2023.
