BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Shanna Davidson (Sr., Huntington Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos) of No. 16-ranked Princeton University accounted for 16 goals and 12 assists during a 3-3 week in California for the Tigers in claiming the March 16 Collegiate Water Polo Association Division I Player of the Week award.
She opened the week on Wednesday, March 11, with two goals and five assists in a 12-1 victory at No. 25/Division III No. 1 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in Claremont, Calif., prior to Princeton taking a 12-4 setback at No. 2 the University of California-Los Angeles on Thursday, March 12.
During the 2026 Aztec Invitational hosted by San Diego State University on Friday-Saturday, March 13-14, she deposited pairs of goals in helping the Tigers versus host/No. 13 San Diego State (12-10 L) and Division III No. 7 Whittier College (24-4 W) to begin the weekend. On Saturday, March 14, she posted five goals and three steals in an 11-10 loss to No. 12 Indiana University before capping off the week with five goals and four steals in a 14-6 management of Pomona-Pitzer.
