BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Shanna Davidson (Sr., Huntington Beach, Calif./Los Alamitos) of No. 13-ranked Princeton University put up 15 goals and seven assists during a 5-0 home weekend for the Tigers at the 2026 Princeton Invitational to earn a share of the February 2 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week award.  She shares the honor with Ari Karampetsou (So., Athens, Greece/Costeas Geitonas School) of No. 15-ranked the University of Michigan.

A three-time Rookie of the Week in 2023 (February 13, April 3, April 10) and 2025 Player of the Week (April 7), Davidson opened the weekend with five goals in a 17-7 win versus Mount St. Mary’s University on Friday, January 30, at DeNunzio Pool.

A day later on Saturday, January 31, she chipped in three goals and an assist as the Tigers took down Santa Clara University (21-7 W) before notching four goals and a pair of assists in a 14-9 victory over No. 18 Marist University.

On Sunday, February 1, Davidson deposited two goals and dished out an assist in a 12-8 stoppage of Siena University prior to racking up a goal and three assists as Princeton withstood No. 22 Wagner College by a 12-10 count.
