BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Roko Pozaric (Jr., Zagreb, Croatia/Gimnazija Titusa Brezovackog) of No. 6-ranked Princeton University contributed eight goals and six assists as the Tigers topped No. 17 Brown University, No. 19 Harvard University and Division III No. 5 the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) at home in DeNunzio Pool. For his efforts, Pozaric garners another weekly honor as the October 2 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Player of the Week.
A nine-time Player of the Week (2023: September 18; 2022: September 12, October 3, October 17, November 28; 2021: September 6, September 13, November 29) and seven-time Rookie of the Week (2021: September 6, September 13, September 20, September 27, November 8, November 22, November 29) selection, he opened the weekend homestand by scoring twice and handing out three assists in a 17-11 dispatching of Harvard on Saturday, September 30. Pozaric closed out the day by chipping in a goal and three assists during a 14-7 doubling of MIT.
On Sunday, October 1, he started the new month by putting away five goals in a 15-9 defeat of Brown.
