ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Saint Francis University was unable to overcome either Marist College or No. 16-ranked Indiana University as the Red Flash fell by scores of 20-7 and 23-9, respectively.

Outscoring the Red Flash 14-6 in the first three quarters, the Red Foxes of Marist scored six goals to the Red Flash’s lone goal by Sam Eschleman (Reading, Pa.) in the final frame to overwhelm Saint Francis.

In the late game, SFU trailed 20-8 entering the fourth quarter.  Kimberly Frostad (Regina, Saskatchewan) found the net with 59 seconds to go, but three additional goals from Indiana closed out the scoring.

Eschleman led the Red Flash’s offensive efforts with four goals between the two games, while Emese Szucs (Budapest, Hungary) earned four assists on the day.

Starter Isabel Lumley (Brisbane, Australia) posted 13 combined saves in the two games. Grace Raquel (Naperville, Ill.) entered the game against Indiana in the second quarter, recording six saves.
