BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Saint Francis University released the institution’s 2026 women’s water polo schedule.
The Red Flash will open the season at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in Lexington, Va., on Friday-Saturday, February 6-7, as Saint Francis faces Mount St. Mary’s University (February 6, 6:00 p.m.), the host Keydets (February 7, 9:00 a.m.) and Salem University (February 7, 1:00 p.m.).
A week later, the team heads to Lewisburg, Pa, for the Bucknell Invitational hosted by Bucknell University on Saturday-Sunday, February 14-15. Saint Francis meets La Salle University (February 14, 12:40 p.m.) and Villanova University (5:00 p.m.) on February 14 prior to taking on Siena University (3:20 p.m.) following a Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) contest against the host Bison (9:00 a.m.) on February 15.
A league weekend back at Bucknell on Saturday-Sunday, February 21-22, comes next as SFU faces Harvard University (2:30 p.m.) and Mercyhurst University (6:00 p.m.) on February 21 before battling Brown University (10:30 a.m.) on February 22.
The team hits the road once more for neutral site games against Grove City College (9:00 a.m.) and Gannon University (3:00 p.m.) at the Hallman Aquatic Center in Erie, Pa., on Saturday, February 28, during the Robinette Memorial Invitational before returning home to Loretto, Pa., for a clash with Washington & Jefferson College on Saturday, March 14, at 3:00 p.m.
Saint Francis’ league regular season docket comes to a close on Saturday, March 21, at Princeton University in Princeton, N.J., as the team faces the University of Michigan (12:30 p.m.) and the host Tigers (4:00 p.m.).
Regular season action concludes on Saturday-Sunday, March 28-29, at The Bridge Sports Complex in Bridgeport, W.Va., as the Red Flash face host Salem University (11:30 a.m.) and McKendree University (4:00 p.m.) on March 28 before tangling with Gannon (10:30 a.m.) on March 29.
The CWPA Championship is set for Friday-Sunday, April 10-12, at Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., with the victor claiming the league’s automatic berth to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship.
