BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Emese Szucs (Fr., Budapest, Hungary) of Saint Francis University contributed a goal, an assist and a drawn exclusion in a pair of victories at the David M. Hallman III Aquatics Center in Erie to pick-up the April 7 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week award.
She posted a pair of steals in a 10-4 defeat of Mercyhurst University prior to notching a goal and an assist during an 8-6 win over Gannon University.
The award marks the third Rookie of the Week nod for Szucs who previously garnered recognition on February 8 and March 8.
