BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalkeeper Isabel Lumley (So., Brisbane, Australia/Brisbane Girls School) of Saint Francis University made 25 saves over the span of three games to help the Red Flash claim fourth place at the 2023 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Championship hosted by Princeton University.  For her performance, she is named the May 1 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Defensive Player of the Week.

A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, Lumley opened the weekend with 12 saves on Friday, April 28, as Saint Francis stunned No. 20-ranked Brown University by a 7-3 final score prior to adding seven saves in an 8-3 semifinal loss to No. 10/host Princeton on Saturday, April 29, in the tournament semifinals.

On Sunday, April 30, she chipped in six saves as Saint Francis fell to No. 9 the University of Michigan by a 16-6 score in the third place game.
