BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Saint Francis University’s Sam Eschleman (Fr., Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) posted 12 goals during four games at the 2024 Bruno Classic hosted by Brown University to earn status as the February 5 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
She opened the weekend by tallying six goals in a 15-13 loss to Division III No. 2-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges on Friday, February 2, prior to tacking on solo markers versus both Siena College (15-7 L) and La Salle University (9-7 L) on Saturday, February 3.
Eschleman capped off the weekend by putting away four scoring chances in an 18-10 loss to No. 21 Long Island University on Sunday, February 4.
