BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Sam Eschleman (Fr., Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) of Saint Francis University recorded seven goals during four games at the 2024 Bucknell Invitational hosted by Bucknell University to earn repeat recognition status as the February 12 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
The February 5 Rookie of the Week, she commenced the weekend by scoring once in a 10-9 loss to Villanova University on Saturday, February 10, prior to netting the game-winning tally with 2:32 left in the fourth quarter of an 8-7 league victory versus the host Bison.
On Sunday, February 11, she capped off the string of contests in Lewisburg, Pa., by putting away a pair and a trio in setbacks against Wagner College (18-8 L) and Mount St. Mary’s University (13-9 L), respectively.
