BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Salem University will host the 2019 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division II Eastern Championship with Gannon University, Mercyhurst University and McKendree University on Saturday-Sunday, October 26-27.
The six-game round-robin tournament will feature four games on Saturday, October 26, prior to the final pair of contests on Sunday, October 27. Seeding will be completed based on a vote of the head coaches from the four teams.
The 2019 event marks the 16th Division II Championship hosted by the CWPA as Queens College (2003, 2010), Salem (2004), Slippery Rock University (2005), Mercyhurst (2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016) and Gannon (2014, 2017, 2018) have previously taken the title.
