BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The sites for the 2022-to-2029 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC), Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC), MAWPC-West Region, Division II Eastern and Division III Eastern Championships are now available.
Northeast Water Polo Conference
- Harvard University will host the 2022 and 2026 championships in Cambridge, Mass., while Brown University in Providence, R.I., will be the site of the 2023 and 2027 events. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Mass., attains hosting rights in 2024 and 2028, while Princeton University welcomes the NWPC teams for the 2025 and 2029 championships in Princeton, N.J.
Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference
- Fordham University (2022, 2025, 2028) in the Bronx, N.Y. and Bucknell University (2023, 2026, 2029) in Lewisburg, Pa., will host the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Championship three times during the remainder of the decade. The United States Naval Academy – which hosted the 2021 championship in Annapolis, Md. – will serve as the site for the 2024 and 2027 tournaments.
Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference-West
- The Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference-West Championship will be in Erie, Pa., for six of the next eight years as Gannon University (2022, 2025, 2028) and Mercyhurst University (2023, 2026, 2029) will host the event at the Hallman Aquatics Center. Salem University is slated to host the 2024 and 2027 championships at the Mylan Park Aquatic Center in Morgantown, W. Va.
Division II Eastern Championship
- The Division II Eastern Championship will rotate between Gannon (2022, 2026), Mercyhurst (2025, 2029), Salem (2024, 2028) and McKendree University in Lebanon, Ill., (2023, 2027) from 2022-to-2029.
Division III Eastern Championship
- Penn State Behrend will host the 2022 event with the 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029 championship sites dependent upon the future ability and availability of the institutions to host the event.
