BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Vladimir Mickic (Fr., Subotica, Serbia/Nikola Tesla) of No. 18-ranked St. Francis College Brooklyn totaled eight goals and drew 10 exclusions over four matches at the 2019 Harvard University Invitational to earn laurels as the October 21 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) co-Rookie of the Week.

A four-time weekly honor recipient from the league office during his inaugural intercollegiate season, Mickic previously notched the September 16 NWPC Player and Rookie of the Week nods before claiming Rookie status again on September 23.

Mickic scored once against La Salle University (21-2 W) and four times versus No. 15 Bucknell University (16-14 W) as the Terriers opened the tournament with a pair of victories on Saturday, October 19.  He added a goal and six ejections drawn in a 9-8 loss to No. 17 George Washington University on Sunday, October 20, prior to wrapping up the tournament with two goals and three ejections drawn in a 15-7 defeat of Wagner College.

He shares the Rookie of the Week award with Cole Atwell (Fr., San Diego, Calif./La Jolla) of No. 19 Brown University.
