BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — William Lapkin (Sr., Newport Beach, Calif./Mater Dei) earns notice as the September 23 Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) Player of the Week for leading the offense of No. 14-ranked St. Francis College Brooklyn with 10 points (five goals, five assists) during a 3-0 weekend at the Bucknell University Invitational.

A three-time NWPC Player of the Week selection following previous honors during the 2017 (October 2) and 2018 (October 29) seasons, Lapkin factored in all three games as the Terriers were unleashed on No. 14 George Washington University (11-7 W), Division III No. 10 Johns Hopkins University (16-13 W) and Washington & Jefferson College (25-5 W) of the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC).

Lapkin recorded a hat-trick with three goals, an assist and a pair of steals against the Colonials of George Washington prior to racking up a goal, an assist and a steal in grounding the Blue Jays of Johns Hopkins on Saturday, September 21.  During the invitational finale on Sunday, September 22, he tallied a goal, three assists and a steal in to impeach Washington & Jefferson.
