BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Sam Lisbonne (Sr., Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos) of Stanford University tallied 21 goals, five assists, 12 steals and a pair of field blocks to lead the Cardinal to a 2-2 record and a Seventh Place finish at the 2017 Men’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division Championship hosted by California State University-Maritime Academy. For his performance, Lisbonne collects the October 23 Sierra Pacific Division Player of the Week award.
A two-time Player of the Week selection this season after previously taking the October 2 award, he scored or assisted on 26 of the Cardinal’s 42 goals during the weekend in falling to Cal Maritime (10-4 L) and California State University-Chico (13-12 L OT) prior to knocking off the University of California-Merced (13-1 W) and the University of California-Davis “B” (13-11 W) to notch a Seventh Place finish.
He pumped in eight goals against UC-Davis “B” and tacked on seven markers versus CSU-Chico. Further, he punched in hat-tricks against UC-Merced and Cal Maritime.
Further, he racked up two assists against UC-Davis “B” and a solo helper versus Cal Maritime. Against UC-Merced, he registered six steals and drew a total of seven ejections during the championship weekend.
