BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The deadline for 2018 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Women’s Scholar-Athlete Team submissions is extended until Friday, June 29.
The Women’s Scholar-Athlete Team is open to all athletes (freshmen and up) that competed during the season.
To be selected, student-athletes must be active participants on the team and a full-time student at the institution which nominated them. Freshmen through graduate students are eligible for the award.
Nominees must achieve a 3.2 cumulative Grade Point Average or higher based on the most recent grades (spring semester for women).
Student-athletes were recognized in three levels: 3.2 to 3.4 (Excellent), 3.41 to 3.7 (Superior) and 3.71 to 4.0 (Outstanding).
In addition, varsity and club teams with cumulative GPA’s at or above 2.75 are recognized by the conference for overall excellence.
