BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Texas State University informed the league office during the evening of Thursday, April 18, of the team’s intent to accept the No. 16 seed for the 2024 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship at Texas A&M University on Friday-Sunday, May 3-5, in College Station, Texas.
The Bobcats – which finished in Third Place at the 2024 Texas Division Championship – earn the spot due to Texas Division runner-up the University of Texas declining for academic reasons. Texas State fills the position which is typically awarded to the host institution as host Texas A&M captured the Texas Division Championship and will compete out of the No. 5 berth allotted to the Texas Division Champion based on the results of the 2023 Women’s National Collegiate Club Championship at the University of California-Los Angeles.
