ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The United States Naval Academy senior leadership staff announced on Sunday, February 28, that the Naval Academy will be under a restriction of movement (ROM) for a minimum of 10 days and that all athletic events with the exception of men’s basketball have been postponed during that time frame.
Due to the restriction of movement, the No. 9-rankd Navy men’s water polo team is unable to either compete in and/or host the Winter 2021 Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference (MAWPC) Championship this weekend on Saturday-Sunday, March 6-7. The league office is currently coordinating a new host venue for the championship and more information will be available in the coming days.
