BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Jack Hightower (Sr., San Diego, Calif./Cathedral Catholic) and Holden Seybold (Sr., Aliso Viejo, Calif./Laguna Beach) were recognized with individual honors during the 2026 Commandant of Midshipmen Awards Ceremony on the grounds of the United States Naval Academy.

Hightower was among 26 graduates awarded a sword for garnering the Colonel Thomas Golella ’76 award, while Seybold claimed an engraved silver tray as the recipient of the Navy Men’s Water Polo Award presented by the United Services Automobile Association to “the team member who has contributed the most to the team during the season”.

Both athletes were commissioned with Hightower joining the United States Marines as a Second Lieutenant and Seybold earning the rank of Ensign as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer.
