BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Kloe Escobar (So., Aliso Viejo, Calif./Aliso Niguel) of No. 14-ranked the United States Naval Academy registered 16 goals, eight assists, eight steals and five field blocks during a 4-0 weekend for the Midshipmen at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., to claim recognition as the February 23 Women’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division Player of the Week.
Courtesy the four victories, Navy finishes the regular season with an 8-0 mark in Atlantic Division competition and clinches the No. 1 seed for the upcoming division championship on Saturday-Sunday, March 28-29, at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.
She scored three times in a 25-12 defeat of Georgetown University, racked up seven tallies in a 16-8 dispatching of Virginia Tech and struck for five markers in a 24-10 management of the University of North Carolina on Saturday, February 21. On Sunday, February 22, Escobar capped off her weekend with a goal in a 17-8 win versus host James Madison.
