BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Maddie O’Reilly (Sr., Villanova, Pa./Episcopal Academy) of No. 7-ranked the University of Michigan tallied 10 points on four goals and six assists with two drawn exclusions and a steal during a pair of home victories versus Salem University to earn status as the March 29 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.

Facing the Tigers on Saturday, March 27, she pumped in a pair of goals and three assists in a 19-2 victory over Salem.  In game two, she aided the Wolverines’ cause with two goals and three assists as the Maize & Blue rolled to a 16-5 win.

The Player of the Week nod marks the sixth in the past two years for O’Reilly who previously claimed recognition on January 27 and March 2 during the COVID-19 abbreviated 2020 season.  This year, she earned prior laurels on February 22, March 1 and March 22.
