BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Kaitlyn Shaw (So., Corona, Calif./Santiago) of the University of California-Santa Cruz tallied 10 goals, six assists and three steals in a 3-1 weekend for the Banana Slugs at California State University-Maritime Academy to claim recognition as the February 20 Women’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division Player of the Week.
She won 14-of-16 sprints during the course of the weekend as UC-Santa Cruz topped the University of California-Davis “B” (11-4 W), San Jose State University (16-7 W) and the University of California “B” (9-4 W) with a loss to the University of California “A” (12-9 L).
