BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Julia Sellers (Jr., Santa Ana, Calif./Foothill) of No. 10-ranked University of Michigan posted 15 goals, five assists, eight steals and a field block during a 4-1 weekend for the Wolverines at Harvard University’s Blodgett Pool to post laurels as the April 9 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Co-Player of the Week.

She scored five goals with an assist versus both Brown University (16-5 W) and George Washington University (20-9 W) on Saturday, April 7, to accompany a goal and an assist versus Bucknell University (14-5 W).  On Sunday, April 8, she notched a hat-trick with two steals and two drawn exclusions in an 8-7 sudden death overtime loss to No. 11 Princeton University to go along with a goal and two assists in a 12-7 victory over No. 19 Harvard.

She shares the Player of the Week award with Haley Wan (Sr., Irvine, Calif./Santa Margarita Catholic) of No. 11-ranked Princeton University who posted 11 goals, 10 assists, 12 steals, two ejections drawn and three field blocks in a 4-0 campaign at Harvard.

The award marks the second Player of the Week nod in Sellers’ intercollegiate career as she previously took home the February 27 award during the 2017 season.
