BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The University of California-Merced women’s water polo club team will host and stream the 10-game National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Women’s Water Polo Championship on Friday-Sunday, March 31-April 2, in Merced, Calif.

Round robin competition begins at 10:00 a.m. Pacific on Friday, March 31, as the host Bobcats take on the varsity squad from Ottawa University (Ariz.) prior to the varsity team of Westcliff University meeting the club team from California Maritime Academy at 11:30 a.m.  Ottawa and Westcliff clash at 5:00 p.m. prior to UC Merced and Cal Maritime taking to the water at 6:30 p.m. to wrap-up Day One competition.

On Saturday, April 1, UC Merced and Westcliff tangle at 10:00 a.m. before Ottawa and Cal Maritime conclude round robin play  at 11:30 a.m. to establish the seeding for the semifinals slated for 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The event concludes on Sunday, April 2, with the Third Place game at Noon followed by the Championship contest at 1:45 p.m.
