BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Story Waxman (So., Santa Monica, Calif./Santa Monica) and Brynna Moore (So., San Diego, Calif./Steele Canyon) of the University of California-San Diego “A” team combined for a goal, two assists, nine steals and 41 saves during a 4-0 weekend at the University of Arizona for the No. 1-ranked Tritons to share status as the February 19 Women’s Collegiate Club Southwest Division Player of the Week.
Waxman notched 21 saves, seven steals and a pair of assists during her time guarding the cage versus No. 12 Arizona State University (11-7 W), the University of Arizona (20-4 W) and Grand Canyon University (9-0 W), while Moore chipped in 20 saves, two steals and a goal to key an 11-6 defeat of No. 11 San Diego State University.
