BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Natalie Kaplanyan (Fr., Glendale, Calif./Flintridge Preparatory School) of the University of California-San Diego “A” racked up eight goals, 10 assists, 11 steals and a field block during a 4-0 home weekend for the Tritons’ in the final Women’s Collegiate Club Southwest Division regular season tournament.  For her performance, Kaplanyan is named the April 11 Southwest Division Player of the Week.

She helped UC-San Diego top the University of Arizona (17-4 W), Arizona State University “B” (15-3 W), the University of San Diego (13-1 W) and San Diego State University “A” (9-6 W) as the Tritons conclude the regular season with a 7-1 mark and the No. 2 seed for the upcoming division championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 23-24, at home in La Jolla, Calif.

Her best performance of the weekend came versus San Diego State as she posted three goals for the difference in a 9-6 victory.
