BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Cecelia Lutz (Fr., Berkeley, Calif./Berkeley) of No. 6-ranked the University of California “A” posted 10 saves during a 4-0 weekend for the Golden Bears at the University of California-Davis during the final weekend of Women’s Collegiate Club Sierra Pacific Division regular season competition. For her performance, Lutz is named the division’s March 16 Player of the Week.
She aided Cal “A” in defeating UC-Davis “A” (13-4 W; 16-8 W), UC-Davis “B” (20-1 W) and Chico State University (14-4 W) to conclude an 8-0 regular season and clinch the No. 1 seed for the Sierra Pacific Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 11-12, at UC-Davis.
