BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Alicia Emerine (Jr., Lake Mary, Fla./Seminole) of the University of Central Florida contributed four goals, 14 steals and a field block during a 2-2 weekend at Emory University’s Woodruff Physical Education Center for the Knights. For her performance, Emerine is named the February 25 Women’s Collegiate Club Southeast Division Player of the Week.
She aided UCF in downing the University of Florida “B” (5-4 W) and Florida State University (7-6 W), while the Knights fell to Emory (5-4 L) and the University of Florida “A” (18-3 L) to wrap-up the regular season with a 3-5 record to clinch the No. 5 seed for the Southeast Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 6-7, at Florida in Gainesville, Fla.
