BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Samantha Horency (So., Orlando, Fla./Dr. Phillips) of the University of Central Florida accounted for a goal, three assists, 10 steals and 27 saves in 76 minutes of play to earn recognition as the February 28 Women’s Collegiate Club Southeast Division Player of the Week.
She aided UCF’s cause in downing Florida Atlantic University (12-5 W) and the University of Alabama (18-10 W) at home on Saturday, February 28, during the opening weekend of league action. She concluded the weekend as the Golden Knights topped defending/2019 Women’s Collegiate Club Champion the University of Florida “A” (12-11 W OT) before downed the University of Florida “B” (13-5 W) on Sunday, February 27.
