BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Former University of Michigan athlete Kathy Rogers will compete for Great Britain at the World Aquatics Women’s Water Polo World Cup 2026 (Division 2), held on Monday-Sunday, April 20–26, in Malta.
The preliminary phase of the competition for Great Britain will include the following games:
- April 21, 2026 vs. Portugal at 5:30 a.m. Eastern
- April 22, 2026 vs. Singapore at 7:30 a.m. Eastern
- April 23, 2026 vs. Kazakhstan at 9:00 a.m. Eastern

The captain for Great Britain, Rogers racked up 77 goals, 35 assists, 29 drawn exclusions, 82 steals, 56 field blocks and a 48-for-65 mark in sprints in 109 games for the Wolverines from 2019-to-2021. A native of New Forest, England, and a graduate of Trinity School, the 2021 team captain aided Michigan in capturing a trio of Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championships and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship berths in 2018, 2019, and 2021 with the 2020 season a casualty of the COVID-19 outbreak prior to the commencement of league competition.
