BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Goalkeeper Alex Brown (So., Clayton, Calif./Carondelet) split time across four league games in Pennsylvania to log 11 saves and concede five goals in 64 minutes. For her efforts, Brown is named the March 22 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Defensive Player of the Week.
Splitting time in cage with junior Sophie Jackson (Jr., West Yorkshire, England/The Crossley Heath Grammar School), Brown helped the Wolverines down host/No. 22 Bucknell University (16-5 W) and Mount St. Mary’s University (21-1 W) on Saturday, March 20, in Lewisburg prior to aiding the Maize & Blue’s cause in victories over host Saint Francis University (13-5 W) and Mount St. Mary’s (16-2 W) on Sunday, March 21, in Loretto.
