BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Brooke Ingram (Fr., Santa Barbara, Calif./San Marcos) contributed two goals and an assist for No. 7-ranked the University of Michigan at the 2023 Fresno State University Bulldog Fest to earn status as the January 23 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.
The award, which marks the second in as many weeks for Ingram who previously earned the January 16 Rookie of the Week laurel, comes after a three game span versus No. 8 Fresno State (13-9 W), No. 6 the University of Hawaii (15-6 L) and No. 4 the University of California (13-10 L).
On Saturday, January 21, she scored twice in the Wolverines collaring of the Bulldogs prior to being held without a point versus Hawaii. She capped off the weekend by dishing out an assist in the Maize & Blue’s contest versus California.
