BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Emilia Mladjan (Jr., Brookfield, Ill./Lyons Township) of No. 12-ranked the University of Michigan netted a first quarter hat-trick along with drawing two exclusions and collecting a steal to help upset No. 10 Indiana University, 11-9, on Saturday, April 4, at Canham Natatorium in Ann Arbor.  For her performance, Mladjan is awarded laurels as the April 6 Collegiate Water Polo Association Division I Player of the Week.

She staked the Wolverines to leads of 2-1, 4-1 and 6-1 in the first quarter as Michigan held leads of 6-1 and 7-3 at the conclusion of the first and second quarters, respectively, to overpower the Hoosiers.

The win wrapped up a 16-9 regular season for the Maize & Blue.
