BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Emma Gustafsson (Fr., Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) of No. 11-ranked the University of Michigan contributed a goal and two assists for the Wolverines at the 2024 Fresno State University Polo-Palooza tournament on Saturday-Sunday, January 20-21, to earn recognition as the January 22 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week
She began her collegiate tenure by scoring once and dishing out a helper in a 14-11 overtime loss to No. 4 the University of Hawaii prior to tacking on another assists in an 11-10 loss to the host/No. 5 Bulldogs of Fresno State on Saturday, January 20. She did not score in a 16-7 loss to No. 3 the University of California on Sunday, January 21.
