BRIDGEPORT, Pa — Emma Gustafsson (Fr., Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) of No. 11-ranked the University of Michigan compiled seven goals, six assists and three steals during a 3-1 weekend for the Wolverines at home during the Michigan Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, March 23-24, in Canham Natatorium.  For her performance, Gustafsson is named the March 25 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.

A two-time Rookie of the Week selection with recognition on January 22 and February 19,she accounted for three goals, an assist and a steal in a 14-3 defeat of the Toronto Golden Jets prior to the Maize & Blue falling to No. 6 Long Beach State University by a 12-9 score on Saturday, March 23.  On Sunday, March 24, Gustafsson started the day with a goal and pairs of assists and steals in a 9-5 league victory versus Bucknell University before racking up three goals and three assists in a 14-4 upending of the University of California-Merced.
