BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Erin Neustrom (Fr., Moraga, Calif./Campolindo) of No. 6-ranked the University of Michigan collected eight goals, two steals and a field block during a 3-0 league weekend at Bucknell University to claim laurels as the April 15 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Rookie of the Week.

Coming of the bench for the Wolverines, Neustrom helped Michigan down No. 16 Harvard University (17-2 W), host/No. 21 Bucknell (16-6 W) and George Washington University (14-5 W) to complete a perfect 6-0 league record and clinch the No. 1 seed for the upcoming CWPA Championship at Brown University on Friday-Sunday, April 26-28, in Providence, R.I.

She matched her career high with four goals versus Bucknell to accompany two drawn exclusions and a steal after netting a goal, three drawn exclusions and a field block against Harvard.  In the weekend’s concluding game, she drew four exclusions and grabbed a steal as the Maize & Blue took down George Washington.
