BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Julia Sellers (Sr., Santa Ana, Calif./Foothill) of No. 6-ranked the University of Michigan tallied six goals and and an assist in two games at the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championship hosted by Brown University to lead the Wolverines to their fourth consecutive league crown and claim accolades as the April 29 CWPA Division I Player of the Week.

The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the championship, she scored three times against No. 21 Harvard University in a 14-7 semifinal win prior to posting three goals and an assist in a 10-6 victory versus No. 15 Princeton University in the league title game. 

In addition, she drew four ejections on the weekend.

The award marks her third Player of the Week nod in 2019 after previously earning recognition on January 21 and March 4.
