BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Maddie O’Reilly (Sr., Villanova, Pa./Episcopal Academy) of No. 7-ranked the University of Michigan recorded 10 goals during a 4-0 league weekend in Pennsylvania to claim recognition as the March 22 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.

She helped the Wolverines down host/No. 22 Bucknell University (16-5 W) and Mount St. Mary’s University (21-1 W) on Saturday, March 20, in Lewisburg prior to aiding the Maize & Blue’s cause in victories over host Saint Francis University (13-5 W) and Mount St. Mary’s (16-2 W) on Sunday, March 21, in Loretto. 

The Player of the Week nod marks the fifth in the past two years for O’Reilly who previously claimed recognition on January 27 and March 2 during the COVID-19 abbreviated 2020 season.  This year, she earned prior laurels on February 22 and March 1.
