BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Maddie O’Reilly (Jr., Villanova, Pa./Episcopal Academy) notched seven goals and four assists with pairs of steals and field blocks during a 3-1 weekend for the No. 7-ranked Wolverines at home during the Michigan Invitational to earn status as the January 27 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division I Player of the Week.

A first-time weekly honor recipient from the league office, O’Reilly matched a career high with four goals and an assist in helping to dispatch No. 21 Wagner College (11-8 W).  She tacked on two goals and an assist in a 7-4 defeat of No. 11 University of the Pacific to accompany a goal and two assists in a 7-6 win versus No. 9 University of California-Santa Barbara.  In addition, she aided the Maize & Blue’s cause in a 12-4 loss to No. 5 University of California-Los Angeles.
