BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Laura Vetter (Sr., Monterey, Calif./Notre Dame) accounted for 24 goals during a 4-0 weekend for the Tarheels to earn recognition as the February 17 Women’s Collegiate Club Atlantic Division tri-Player of the Week.

She shares the honor with Claire Turner (Fr., Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach) of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) and Myha Pinto (So., Laguna Beach, Calif./Laguna Beach) of the United States Naval Academy.

Vetter helped UNC top Georgetown University (18-10 W), the University of Tennessee (19-13 W), James Madison University (15-9 W) and the University of Virginia (18-17 W OT SD) to tie with Virginia Tech for the early lead in the division standings with 4-0 records.  Against Virginia, she struck for the deciding goal in sudden death overtime.
