BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — James Plaschke (Sr., Atherton, Calif./Sacred Heart) racked up six goals, four assists, four steals, five field blocks and 15 ejections drawn during a 3-1 weekend for the University of Notre Dame at home in division play to claim recognition as the October 3 Men’s Collegiate Club Great Lakes Division Player of the Week.
He aided the Irish’s cause in downing Illinois State University (9-8 W), the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (12-1 W) and Grand Valley State University (6-4 W) with a loss to Washington University in St. Louis (10-4 L).
