BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Max Davis-Denny (So., Los Angeles, Calif./Loyola) of the University of Pittsburgh contributed 11 goals during a 4-0 weekend for the Panthers at Villanova University to claim status as the September 28 Men’s Collegiate Club Mid-Atlantic Division Player of the Week.
Competing during the second and final weekend of Mid-Atlantic Division competition, he scored twice in defeats of both Pennsylvania State University “B” (17-12 W) and Carnegie Mellon University (11-7 W) to accompany six tallies in upending defending Mid-Atlantic Division Champion Pennsylvania State University “A” (18-12 W) and a solo marker in a 15-13 victory over No. 15-ranked Villanova to clinch the No. 1 seed for the Mid-Atlantic Division Championship at Penn State in State College, Pa., on Saturday-Sunday, October 24-25.
