BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Alyssa Orozco (So., Austin, Texas/Brandeis) scored 12 goals for the University of Texas during a 3-1 weekend to earn recognition as the February 20 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Women’s Collegiate Club Texas Division Player of the Week.
The Longhorns topped Rice University (13-1 W), the University of North Texas (15-4 W) and Texas A&M University “B” (10-2 W) to accompany a 15-10 loss to Texas A&M University “A” at Greater Waco YMCA in Waco, Texas, during the opening weekend of Texas Division competition.
