BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Emma Brooks (Sr., Reading, Pa./Skyline) and Christine Toone (Gr., Salt Lake City, Utah/Cypress) combined for 26 goals during a 4-0 for the University of Utah “A” team to share recognition as the February 27 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Women’s Collegiate Club Rocky Mountain Division Player of the Week.

Toone netted 14 goals during the weekend at the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center in Kearns, Utah, while Brooks contributed 12 goals, four assists five steals and two blocks.

The duo helped Utah turn back Colorado State University (10-9 W), the United States Air Force Academy (11-3 W), the Colorado School of Mines (13-7 W) and Utah Tech University (14-6 W) to wrap-up the regular season with a 6-1-1 record and claim the No. 1 seed for the Rocky Mountain Division Championship on Saturday-Sunday, April 22-23, at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton, Colo.
