BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Shelby Hawes (Jr., Herriman, Utah/Mountain Ridge) and Christine Toone (Gr., Salt Lake City, Utah/Cypress) combined for 20 goals, 13 steals and eight assists during a 4-0 weekend for No. 8-ranked the University of Utah “A” at a division tournament hosted by the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.  For their combined efforts, the pair of Hawes and Toone receive commendation as the February 26 Women’s Collegiate Club Rocky Mountain Division Co-Players of the Week.

Toone netted 14 goals, two assists and five steals, while Hawes racked up six goals, six assists and eight steals during a weekend sojourn to the Centennial State for victories over Colorado State University (16-2 W), the Colorado School of Mines (13-6 W), Utah Tech University (10-1 W) and the University of Colorado (12-4 W).

The regular season division champion with an 8-0 record, Utah will continue the season on Saturday-Sunday, April 20-21, at the Rocky Mountain Division Championship hosted at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton, Colo.
